Hi people
I recently installed Origin as I saw a great deal for origin access that lets you play but not own a lot of great games.
However after installing a few games I now cant get them to run for some reason. After i click play nothing happens, it just sits on the origin screen where it says 'in game' in the friends list and if I access task manager the game is showing as an open application, but literally nothing of the game on screen????
I have managed about 2 hours of star wars battlefront over the last 2 weeks and now nothing!
I've googled the problem but no one seems to have the same issue as me.....
Any ideas I could try guys?

Thanks for that but that's one of the first things I tried.
I tried reinstalling Origin but that stopped me even being able to access my games lol, so I deleted the whole games library, then reinstalled Origin yet again then redownloaded a game to try and now it semms to be working again.
Very strange and annoying......
 
if it happens again try running origin as admin, might be read / write issues, especially if the installs are on a different HDD to origin
 
I had a similar issue and the only fix I found was to remove and re-install like you have done. But used Revo Uninstaller to completely remove all trace.
 
Has anyone had the problem where you get nothing but a white screen? I can log in to Origin but after that, nothing. It just sits there with a white screen and I can’t do anything. None of the solutions on EA support seem to work.
