Original Borderlands 7850 Performance

Hey,

Been trying to play a bit of Borderlands recently but I'm having performance issues that are making it hard to play for a decent length of time. Its hard to describe but whenever I move it seems like the screen stutters in an uneven way that's really annoying. I've tried changing the graphics options in game but it doesn't seem to have any affect.

I'm gaming at 1080 res with an MSI twin frozr iv 7850 (1050 core/1200 mem) and 12.3 drivers.

Is there anyone out there who has also had this kind of issue? Is there some simple way to fix it?

try turning vsync on, it could be tearing due to high fps with a 60Hz screen.

Ah thanks, where would I find the options to do that? haven't found it in the main graphics menu

Also update your Drivers to 12.8 from the AMD Home Page.

12.3 Drivers are as old as i am, arthritic with a dodgy hip...

looks like you have to edit a config file to do it.
