original colin mcrae rally

Mcrea got yanked from good old games a few years ago, due to licensing i think.

Worth picking up the disk if you have the means, pc version don't look that bad and plays a peach.

Oddly enough, despite putting loads of time into it, I've never played any of the sequels. At all. Are they any good, or a bit arcadey?
 
I've played cm2 and cm3 but they don't add anything interesting to the formula.
I quite liked cm2 and v rally 2 if you want something more sim like try richard burns rally.

I'll pick up the disc.
 
04 Cracked it. Such a great game, still have it installed today.

They did an 05, but one of the woes of it vanishing from gog meant that you're stuck with a boxed copy 'starforce' release.

Greece stage 2... i'll go one up and big up corsica stage 2, the one where you bomb it down the hill through the village:)
