Are any games you should avoid installing from the original CD/DVD and instead wait for a GOG release or similar?
My XP rig is running well, therefore, a little bit nervous when attempting to install a Game for Windows/Windows Live or similar; will they cause issues with an offline retro PC; install nasties from back in the day, or simply cause the PC to throw a wobbly! I tend to install original games so you get the original soundtrack as many Steam games or similar have been butchered!
I have a few original games on disk and purchase a few on eBay to add to the collection. I just wondered if there are some which you should steer clear?
