Original live sub but no original xbox!

Hi, just bought a 2 month sub off ebay and was then told it was for the original xbox. Is there any way to activate this without an original xbox and then transfering it over?

live is live mate. just use it for your (i assume) 360

no so true mate. them 2month cards, as far as i know, work for when creating a new account on an original xbox as far as i know. maybe someone else has some first hand experience. I have a 2 month card which i wouldn't mind adding onto my current live account if its possible in any way.
