Original Ridge Racer + PS3 + G25?

Anyone know if it's possible to get the original ridge racer (ps1) working with my Logitech G25 wheel through my PS3?

What are my chances?

(wouldn't be horrible though, ridge racer was an arcade port and it was one of the best arcade games ever imo up there with the classic street fighters... the arcade game (obviously) used a wheel and it was a minter

The game should work fine - all PS3 models can software emulate PS1 games just fine afaik. You can also turn on upscaling and smoothing to make it look a bit better

Note sure about the wheel though.

G25 works with GT3 so i don't see why it wouldn't work with RidgeRacer.

I think he means Ridge Racer on the PSOne! Im not even sure that supported analog controls?

therein may lie the problem, wanted to check before i got the g25 out and all set up but i guess its a case of suck it and see...

Why would you want to use a G25 on such a game - cant see it being that fun and with all the extreme movements I rather avoid on such an expensive toy...
