ok so

my four year old dg834gt has finally bit the bullet, and need to get a new one.
Ive been looking on sky's site and can pick up a new one for £35, but have no idea which make and model they are sending out.

any ideas on what they will be sending out and whether i'll be able to tweak it just like the dg834gt (had a modded firmware that allowed snr tweaks)

TIA

tbh just buy a second hand 834gt, mind I bwould be ringing sky asking for a new router as it has died & dont let them fob you off with paying money as theirs is locked down so a free router is what you should get.

They'll send out a Sagem f@st 2504N - no modded firmware is available.

Alternatives are Billion, a router with dd-wrt and others that support Sky's DHCP option 61 requirement.

thanks, so no way to alter the snr on the sagem then? also, otherwise is it a decent router?

cheers
