Hi,

sure someone has a original xbox and the 360. Was wondering if you are able to check if the video output is the same ?

About to buy a RGB scart lead for the original xbox and was wondering would the same lead work for the 360 that I will buy soon. :)

Thanks

I have both Xbox and 360. But my xbox is not with me ATM
I don't think the cable will be the same, otherwise M$ can't make additional profit. :p

What's wrong with it?

No Original Xbox kit or cable

i.e.: Any Xbox 1 cable or controller, like the Controller S, Advance AV Cable

will work with

Will not work, it's not going to happen.

the Xbox 360

With the new Xbox, the Xbox 360.

, or vice versa.

Meaning no Xbox 360 kit will work with the original Xbox 1, i.e. the Control Pads, the HD cables, the VGA cables.

... :p

Why would M$ do a stupid thing like that. Imagine how much money people would save if they have compatible items, God forbid

Heck, even 99% of old Xbox games aren't compatible when they said it would be backward compatible.

Nothing like spend another £50 on Burnout Revenge when it almost identical to the Xbox original. :D

Or imagine how much money M$ would not make if they did a stupid thing like making the controllers etc compatible.

It's naughty really that games consoles all use different leads, even consoles from the same manufacturer. If you buy a TV or DVD player for example, from any manufacturer, they all take exactly the same leads as each other. It doesn't help the consumer at all and maybe the authorities should look at it.
