Orlando in July

Going to Orlando in July with the girlfriend and her family. We are staying on International Drive in the Quality Inn Plaza (basic, but all we need).

Has anyone been here or stayed very close to this place before? Generally looking some information, do's and don't etc...

None of us have ever been before! The package is with Virgin Atlantic and includes car hire.

Yep we will be doing the theme parks and possibly the space station, any experience of this?

Also looking to visit Disney World (3yr old coming).

We will definitly be at most of the parks + discovery cove & kennedy space centre. On the topic of tickets... Is it any cheaper to buy the tickets when we get there compared to buying them in advance?
