I had Tom off this forum help me overclock my new rig so i dont have any idea what im doing. Tom knows his stuff but he doesnt use Orthos much :p

The rig in question is a E6600 on a DS3P board and 2 x 1gb Crucial 5300 ram! The CPU is cooled by a noctua and only clocked to a measly 3.2 ghz (8x400fsb)!

Updated, Tom would like to be known as Jaffa_cake!
After reading some old threads it looks as though i should be upping my vcore a little. Its currently on 1.280v which is stock

I think my memory timing is along the lines of 5-5-5-5-15

Listened to Jaffa Cakes advice and upped the DDR2 voltage to 0.05 and soo far Orthos is running longer than previously! If i need to up the vcore how much should i up it by....? But ive been reading that the E6600 should be able to take 3.2ghz at stock volts?

Thats not partly true as i upped the DDR2 voltage by 0.05 from stock and orthos ran okay for 7hrs 30mins until i stopped it. HAve run it again and this time it should be for much longer :D
