Orthos in Realtime - essential?

Is it absolutley essential to run Orthos in realtime (10) for stress testing?

I just 'upgraded' my bios and now my system doesn't like orthos running at level 10. It doesn't give any errors, it just runs very slowly and unresponsively but doesn't crash.

Level 9 testing is fine btw.

You mean priority?

If so it is normal that the system becomes unresponsive or slow at max priority but Orthos itself should run fine, or is that hanging as well?

Its not hanging completely, its just become v. unresponsive e.g. with a huge lag time if i hit the stop button to cancel the test.

It will do that as all the cpu time is bring given to orthos and not the os/other devices
