orthos ram test = testing only 2.5 out of 3.5gb normal?

Using Vista32 with 4gb ocz 6400 ram. I know 32bit OS only uses up to 3.5gb max. Now, when i wanted to do some stress test on my ram using orthos, it only uses 2.5 out of 3.5. Is this normal?

Yes, you have to take the size of your graphics card memory from the 3.5gb

Each core/thread will only use slightly more than 1GB of RAM, so I would guess you have a dual core?

yes I do have dual core. So this orthos stress test wont really be stressing my ram then cos its not using 100% of the 3.5gb ram available?

Why are you using Ortheos as your primary memory tester :confused:

Memtest / Memtest+ is the industry standard for testing stability of memory!!

Because it shows up problems that Memtest doesn't detect! One good reason...
