I'm considering buying the Titan Nero at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-180-OK however am unsure what would be my best choice of OS. At the minute, i see the following 3 options...

1) Install 32bit XP
2) Purchase 64bit Vista
3) Install Windows 7 RC

Im tempted by 1 & 3 as they're the cheapest, but im unsure if i'd be gimping the system by installing 32bit XP? And with 3) im not certain would be a wise move to install the RC based on previous microsoft OS releases, especialy as i use dreamweaver for work and there seems to be some problems running this on windows 7 :/

Any suggestions? :)

I agree with Burnsy, but if you need it for work then Vista 64 isn't a bad choice. I wouldn't bother with XP these days unless it was a work requirement.

edit - sounds like you already have an XP license? In which case using XP short term would be fine and pre-order W7.

how the hell do abobe do that? they must be breaking software on purpose so it doesn't work with new versions of windows? surely there's no technical reason why a glorified text editor/ftp client can't work on windows 7.

Hmm, i have to admit i am tempted by rc7... I presume i could dual boot with xp as a last resort?

Well thats adobe for you, imo most of the macromedia products have went downhill since they got their fingers in the pie :(

So i've started installing rc7 and have now been stuck at the "completing installtion" section for nearly 30minutes. The 3 little dots are still moving but the progress bar hasnt moved a pixel. Any suggestions?
