OS on SSD, Everything else on SATA - How??

I plan on getting an SSD some day, I use two drives, one for the OS and all the programs games etc, and my download location, and the other is where I store what I want to keep, share etc, PDF's movies, music, photo's documents etc.

I too would have thought the SSD a waste if you could not "use" it?
