OS question

i cant remember if this was a question i asked already, but going to ask anyways..

i was given a link before from here to Microsoft site where i could retain an iso of my OS, now what im wanting to know is do i have to use my computer or can i use another computer, but the code off my laptop? my disc drive broke you see..

also is there a way to get a copy of a key for the OS to use on another computer as im sure the code i have will only work on my laptop right??

The 2nd and 3rd results of that Google search will lead you two the relevant Microsoft sources, fully open and legit. Just make sure you choose the same version as was already installed on your machine.
