OS X 10.4.7 Released

I've got a weird prob after the update - read this:

Every so often safari seems to pause, i.e. i click another tab and it doesn't change. But it I hold down the mouse it seems to think im actually on the new tab but it still shows the previous tab.

Say if i have osx86 in one tab and a image in the other, i select the image tab but it doesn't change over (pauses) i can click, hold and drag the image to the desktop even though thats in the tab i can't see!

Weird eh?

Everything went seriously wrong last night, I can only blame the update.

Every folder was greyed out and I had a Network and a Server alias appear on my desktop that created a DS.log file everytime I tried to delete them, which they wouldn't do.

I had to Erase and Install to return things back to normal. Thank heavens for .Mac backup. :)

This is the first time anything has ever gone wrong with my Mac and I am not happy. It seems not only have Apple adopted the 'dark side' processors it seems they have taken a liking to the M$ habit of issuing updates that bork your system. :(

Now think of the millions of people installed the update and had no problems.

Just cause something doesn't flow right on your system, doesn't mean that the rest of the world is going to have the same issues.

I had one issue regard a font, but I know why that happened. I ran the update again and everything was peachy. I am extremely happy with the updates results so far.

I know, I know. I am extremely happy overall and as I said this is the first problem I have ever had on my Mac and one which was easy to solve. Not bad for a system that has only been restarted for updates in the two years I have owned it. When I compare that to the daily problems I get on my Windows box I have no real grounds for complaint. :)

Do you have an Intel mac? Everything is fine so far on my G5, you think problems are more prone to occur on Intel systems as they are newer and not had all there problems ironed out? I think its a possibility
