OS X.4 via bluetooth on T Mobile

Hi

I just got myself on to a T-Mobile Web and Walk max plan with a Nokia 6300. I 'm setting it up as a GPRS modem for my mac book and wondering if I got all the setting right as its seems a lot slower and quite unreliable than when I use in on my windows pc using PC suite and the settings for that.


Its all paired up and for account name,I'm using 'user' with the password 'wap' and the APN I'm using is 'general.t-mobile.uk' with CID '3'.... are those correct?

Which modem scripts are you using, I found that made quite a difference for me.

Also try changing your username and password to just 'user' and 'pass' thats the settings I have at the moment. I am also using CID 4, but I think that is just down to the fact that is the HSDPA profile number in my N95.

Its probably against the TOS to use it as a modem. Not trying to pee on your bonfire just be aware.

I just using the standard nokia 3g scripts that come on 10.5.1 (opps I just notice I typed in x.4 earlier.. are there any better modem scripts avaible?
