OS X dock click and hold

I've just discovered the expose-like behaviour when you click and hold on an icon in the doc.
Is there a way to make this work when I hover over instead, so it works in a more Windows-7 like way?

I set up hot corners already. The tab thing is cool, I didn't know about that one - thanks!
