A very good friend is in need of some disk cloning software for the industrial OS known as OS9.The software is called OS Max. Does anyone have a copy or know anyone who might have it, or where he might find it please? Thanks.

Edit: Clearly I didn't read the OP properly before replying :o

Is that not just the previous version of the Mac OS?

Presumably something like clonezilla might be the best bet if it really is as old as that.

Firstly, you can't request to buy things outside of the MM.

Secondly, I can't find any trace of this software on Google. Like has been said, why don't you use something like clonezilla or acronis instead?

He's tried all the common cloning programmes, the hard drive is 2 mb in size, and is SCSI. I am told that this OS Max is all he has ever found that is supposed to read this type of drive and allow cloning. It's part of a gas analyser machine. I am not sure *WHY* the normal cloners fail. Thanks for the replies.

As you can probably appreciate, this is a highly specialized application. I think the chances of you finding this software is slim to none. My suggestion would be to see if we can fix something like clonezilla or perhaps seek advice from the OS developer.
