Osmi 8.1L case

Dimensions: 180x180x250mm.
GPU max length up to 170mm.
Full aluminium and powder coated.

Originally saw this case mentioned on a [H]ardforum thread, but it was only available as a pre-built system. There's now a potential production run for the case only, admittedly a bit pricey though.

Is anyone else eyeing this up? As I'm tempted by it, but wondering if it's too much form over function.

Yeah, I've been in talks with Peter (The owner og HG-computers) for a while regarding this case, he's been experiencing a lot of delays.

It's available now on his site for about £115 I think, but he only accepts bank transfer (Unless he's updated the website)

It's a beautiful case, but unfortunately I got bored of waiting so went in a different direction.

That would make a sweet little HTPC setup (although perhaps might be a bit noisy?).

Site seems to be up for me at current time, but I know over a [H] people keep mentioning site is down. Not sure if intermittent problem or depending on DNS.

Pre-order phase is over and waiting on production. Don't know if 50 pre-orders were taken or if spares are available and being funded by owner.

I'm waiting for end user reviews of it to see what niggles people find.
