Recently bought a Gigabyte Osmium and i like it a lot but there is one thing about it that is stopping me from loving it - half the time it doesnt bloody work!

There is an apparently fairly common problem with this keyboard that it isnt always recognised upon booting the pc up, and you have to unplug it briefly to get it to work. Ive browsed the Gigabyte forum and others have had the same issue but i cannot see a fix or solution there. The one section you cannot see on there without signing up is the Tech Support bit - so ive signed up, and now i still cant see in there because i need to register my product and include a 'check number' which doesnt exist!? so now i have to wait a few days more while they send me one (is nothing simple or straightforward nowadays).

I really like the styling of this keyboard but i cannot possibly justify spending this amount on something that only works half the time - that would be madness.

The only other ones i would consider are currently out of stock atm.

If i took it back to OC HQ and swapped it over would i have the same problem with a replacement do you think or have i just been given a lemon on this occasion?
