I think I may have borked the MAC Mini we have here.:(

I was copying a DMG of the OS installation DVD, and dropped it at the root. Then trhough my total newbieness, I launched the DVD.

Now when I boot the machine, it gets to the grey screen with the apple logo, and doesn't progress any further.
I have tried booting from the DVD by pressing C and then selecting the hard drive as the boot device, but this doesn't change anything.

I've gone into single user mode and had a look at the volumes, and there are three showing. The HDD, a network share, and "MAC OS X Install DVD" which shows as a directory.

Now this is without the DVD in the drive, so I think it is the last volume that is causing the issue.

Is it trying to boot of a phantom volume?

Can anyone suggest how I can rectify this without having to rebuild it?

Cheers
