OSX - Can't open user library

I'm running Yosemite and while I own my user library, and can clearly see it in Finder, it's greyed out and I can't open it.

I've checked the permissions and my user has read/write access.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Can you go to it directly?

From Finder, hit the GO Menu, select folder, and enter:

~/Library

Does that work or....?

Yeah that works going directly and I can access everything that way. Thanks.

I just can't click on the folder for some reason. Odd.

Apple hid the Library file for a couple of versions, there was a command to bring it back. Might be worth trying that command, theory being that it'll set all the associated flags/whatever back to normal (i.e. like any other file)?

Really horrible way of putting it but you get the idea.
