OSX El Capitan

Any way you can turn off the stupid drag app to the top of screen for mission control feature? I have Bettersnaptool using the top of the screen as a maximise and it's annoying me about every 5 mins.

I have killed mission control entirely at present but that's not a permanent solution.

I use both and I never have a problem with either. Seems to be about 1-2 seconds before mission control kicks in so I can chose what to do. I think you just need to get used to it and know the invisible boundaries which differentiate mission control from bettersnap

Entirely wrong!

2011 simply wont work on El Captain AFAIK!

excel/word etc are fine with the latest update.. it's outlook thats deader than a dead thing.

I may be wrong here but I would have thought a massive bug like hanging on startup 100% of the time for 100% of users would have been something they could have fixed by now.

Sounds like a pretty easy to find bug y'know?

I'm a better snap tool user, but I do really like the new split screen.

Being able to maximise a video within a split is really nice and the auto adjustment of both the windows when you move the split in the middle is great.

Who on earth uses office 2011 anyway... it's dire! :p

2016 however is brilliant, does anyone here have issues with that and El Capitan?

Edit: seems I'm blind. Love my 2016 outlook, so will have to wait to upgrade.

2011 does however offer the ability to have a custom toolbar at the top whereas 2016 doesn't...it doesn't bother me as i rely on keyboard shortcuts but people in the office have actually gone back to 2011 due to it...that and the highlighted in emails outlook as they don't like conversation view. Luddites.

Hi

Been away for a while so not got around to looking into el capitan.

I only got my iMac in August so I have not got much installed but have fiddled with settings and so forth.

Should I be fine just installing over Yosemite? I have read that some do clean installs but being new to iMac and not really wanting to have to got through settings again after just setting up would be a pain.

cheers
