osx / ios Project management apps

I've got some large home extension work coming up over the next few months and ideally I'd like to keep track of dates/schedules/costs with a simple project management app.

Previously anything like this I've used Windows based apps therefore any recommendations on Mac based software or even better something that has accompanying ios compatibility?

Merlin2 (Free for 40 activities)

.. and the list goes on.

Free or paid considered, many of the above appear to be more task manager/reminder based apps, ideally looking for something that can handle dependencies and shift out dates based on impact. OmniPlan looks like it may be what I'm after.
