OSX Ipod data recovery

Hi

I have a 1GB first gen ipod. I need to get some music back I accidentally deleted. Tried demo version of PodSalvage and Boomerang but neither shows the ipod.

That sees the ipod but does not give me any options to try and recover deleted songs.

Apparently you need to hold 'apple' and 'alt' key and insert your ipod before PodSalvage will show it. Works great now and got my music back
