OSX Leopard on Apple site

Notice on all the screenshots they do not show any Finder windows. Think we can pretty much assume that Finder is going to be re-worked big time :)

Personally I can't wait to see what the next generation of Front Row will be :)

I'd like to think you'll be able to watch TV through it, and record it for watching later etc. like TIVO.

I can't wait either, not just for Leopard but for the MacPro (linky). Wonder how much one of those is gonna be?

Didn't really notice that there was no finder on all the shots :o There has been talk about a new finder :)

You can already buy them they start at £1600 I think.

Theres the Buy Now link in the top right corner :)

I hope OSX 10.5 does meet peoples expectations as they seem to be very high but I've not read anything that says they are going to change finder? Does anyone have any links to such information?

Pheeeew.

Two 3GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon
4GB (4 x 1GB)
ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB (2 x dual-link DVI)
500GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
1 x SuperDrive
Bluetooth 2.0+EDR module
Apple Keyboard & Mighty Mouse - Int'l English (wireless)

Total £3,409.51.

I get free shipping :o

They are crafty devils. If you opt for 2gb ram you get it as 4x512 sticks. Very crafty. At least I've already got a screen.

You already can with the Elgato TV boxes, they intergrate with Front Row already.

When I visit Apple's site I always get this message.

"QuickTime is missing software required to perform this operation. Unfortunately, it is not available on the QuickTime server"... Cheers, Apple.

Any ideas on what i'm missing?

Have you got the latest version?

The apple website is full of loads of videos on each page now so if your lacking something you probably wount have much luck browsing the site.

Hmm, didn't release that ... I'll check it out, thanks :)

Was really meaning something that works out of the box, but I guess you would need some sort of aerial input anyway for the signal to be recieved by Front Row.

Does anyone know if those Elgato boxes can pick up E4 & Film Four and if they can schedule tv recordings in advance?

Edit: hmm, just read it into it and it doesn't look to good, will wait for some screenshots and a review first before I go any further into it.

Think they can, we reviewed one on our site (well I didn't the other reviewer did at www.techcastuk.co.uk ) it seemed pretty cool, he was impressed with it as far as I knew.

That would be crafty if it didn't leave you with 4 empty memory slots. :p

Im tempted to save for a MacPro tbh.
I'd wait 6-8 months though, as aparentely, according to AT, Apple are going to be using the new Clovertown CPUs.
...however we'd caution you on spending too much on a brand new Mac Pro right away, despite Apple boasting immediate availability. By the end of this year, Intel will begin shipping Clovertown, which should be a drop-in quad-core replacement to the current dual-core Woodcrest based Xeon CPUs. It should allow Apple to replace its dual 3GHz Xeon 5160 option with a pair of quad-core Clovertown based Xeon CPUs. We're not yet sure what the clock speeds or price points will be, but it may be worth waiting for if you can. If you can't wait, there is always the possibility that you may be able to simply upgrade the CPUs in the Mac Pro later on, in which case you may want to go with the lowest end option now and simply drop in Clovertown later...
