Is it possible to get a write driver for ntfs driver for lion for free yet?

Tuxera NTFS is what I use for write access in OS X.

EDIT: It's not free but for what you pay it's worth it, I've never had an issue with it, it's very reliable and hasn't failed me once.

You can get NTFS-3G for free, but this does require you to run in 32-bit mode, which ofc is pointless.

I've purchased Tuxera NTFS as well and I've never had an issue either. You can grab a 14 day trial for free as well if you want to make sure it functions ok.

Kinda. Just mounts the drive as write only rather than read. Should work.
Plug drive into OSX. Find out disk address, unmount, create temp dir, mount with write to temp dir....
