OSX on Windows! Possible?

I need to become fimilar with the Mac OS, but am wondering if I can do it cheaper than buy an old one.
You can spoof Windows in OSX is it possible to do it the other way round?

It's also worth nothing that you can legally install Windows on the Mac and dual boot, so that's an option too. The sticky has some good videos and guides for this

Installing macOS on anything but Apple hardware is not allowed, I'm afraid, as it contravenes Apple's EULA. So your only option is as per EVH's suggestion of playing on Apple's site or purchasing/borrowing a Mac.

So, given his question, your suggestion would not have been helpful, as he doesn't have a Mac, that's the whole point of this thread.
