OSX Open Directory

Hi Guys,
I am right in saying if I setup an Open Directory Server and connect clients to it then anyone can logon to any machine and all their information i.e. files and backgrounds etc will follow them?

Depends on where you store the home directories. If they are store centrally, then yes your settings will follow your around. If stored locally on on the client (ie the normal behaviour) then no, the settings won't follow you around.
