OSX Student License

Hey folks, does anyone know what the deal is with purchasing OSX on student license from Apple, I had a brief look around the apple site and it just says to call a number.

Can it be done by visiting a store? What sort of price will a single license be?

Well it turns out that Apple no longer offer student discount on OSX. It is the only thing they don't offer discount on. Grrr. :mad:

I went to the Apple store in Milk an' Beans to make some enquiries about upgrading my powerbook from 10.3 to 10.5 and apparently they don't offer the operating systems on with student discount any more.

Chances are it'll make my power book just a 'book' after the upgrade because according to the website I have minimum spec. I'd be willing to do it for a reduced rate, but loath to do so for £85.

There were a lot of people that only looked like they only come out at night or for the sci-fi convention every year. It was scary.
