I think a fair few people will share this view, but I find FPS on console somewhat tricky sometimes...

I find Halo really challenging, yet COD (especially the modern warfares) very very intuitive and comfortable...

I have realised it is due to the target assist where when you press aim it snaps to a target... this makes using the pad a non issue and I was wondering if there are any other games using this system?

I will play all the other ones, but can't complete them on harder difficulty settings due to the lack of accuracy that you get with a pad, tho its still better to lounge on the sofa and play rather that sit at a PC I reckon :)

most FPS's have some sort of aim-assist, to be honest though if you find halo tricky i wouldnt bother with that type of game genre. unless you wanna put in the time and practice

When I made the move from PC to console, I struggled lol. Hated it, but over time you get used to it and I think I am better with a pad than keyboard and mouse now! Well, wouldn't go that far, still got my CS skills hehe.

I played a lot of COD4 on PS3 and became fully comfortable with it, but then went and got the PC ver, not touching the PS3 ver for months and months and now when i try to play it on the PS3 i get owned.

Halo runs at only 30fps, whereas COD runs at 60fps and that also makes a difference in aiming. COD is much smoother overall.

Why would frames per second make any difference when CoD does the aiming for you?
