Other Drive for Vista Docs

I keep all my docs on another drive (On the D drive not the C drive)

Now with Vista's bloddy document stuff i cant find a way to change it. In XP you could just change the location and everything would be cool.

But Vista seems like it doesnt allow this and has a Chris folder on the desktop that isnt any use to me.

Does anyone know how to change it so that it recognises my D drive as the My Docs place?

Cheers

same as XP:

Ah ok i get it. You have to do it with every different bit, docs, pics, vids etc.

Thanks for the help

Any idea how you get it to show the proper icons for documents etc instead of a drive icon you get after moving it to another disk?

Yes make a Directory in the drive you want to use for those folders and point at that rather than the drive.

ahh, i was wondering that too.

that's a pain, if it's the only thing on the partition I'd rather it wasn't in a subdirectory. nevermind.

also, I don't think iTunes works well with a moved music folder.
