This is ridiculous.

I happened to catch this guys tune while I was flicking through last night, and all I can say is, omfg he is rubbish. He has the most appalling american accent for someone who is from Manchester and his song is utter drivel.

Did anyone else hear it?

That said, I think Eurovision is a big joke anyway :p

Watched it, laughed at it, shook my head at how dodgy the whole school girls in uniforms were.

We might just have a chance of winning this year.

Jokester

Haha, well, first impressions, he doesn't look like a Eurovision winner... I didn't hear the song though, if it's anything like as catchy as Out Of Touch then maybe it'll be okay.

Yeh i know tell me about it, how the **** did that guy win the uk entry to eurovision is beyond me....if anything its a novelty song which wont win i reckon but then i really dont care tbh. It was on the TV and i only watched it because of Natasha Kiplinsky was wearing a nice outfit which showed her rack off to nice effect:p

I don't think the UK will ever win the Eurovision song contest ever again really. It's to political, and lets face it, the UK isn't the most liked country atm. I just watch it for Terry Wogans commentary :)

Well since "We" invaded Iraq we have a total of 2 points from two years. Draw your own conclusions

Its not? I don't think we're any more unpopular than ever, and a lot of that is becasue of the grace of our heritage...

It also happens that one of our efforts was terribly and utterly poor performers who managed to go off key several times and the last one was just pap

We're not the only Euro country in Iraq

I have nothing to do with the artist in question. :o

No wonder we haven't won since 1997 (which was a proper band who were a little embarassed to be taking part :o)
Record winning points margin too.

I only caught the very ending when the Votes were being tallied & in the space of that 10 minutes I decided that...City Chix should have won because the girl with the black hair was supremley fit :D :D :D

As an aside I feel I have to agree with everyone...Daz does indeed suck & we wont be winning again this year...not that I think we really want to...do we???

From what I saw of it, it's suitably naff and thus stands a chance of winning.

The question is, will the Germans have an entry where they all stand around in pink leiderhousen, singing about the joys of precision engineering , brachworst and ale (off key), if they do we're screwed.

This is what happens when people with no taste or hearing are allowed to vote.
I don't know if anybody has been watching Just The Two Of Us but it was clear there was only one winner - the guy off Holby and his partner. Come the final and they're up against the amazing voice of Russell Watson and some bint off Cutting It who couldn't get two notes in tune together. She really was bloody awful and the public voted her (and Russell) the winner. You could see the amazement on everybody's faces in the studio.
