Our new minister for equality...

these things are stupid, generated by a Facebook generation, to try and sensationalize, something that in turn is probably not true.

As someone else in this thread has already proved, it is actually true. You can check Maria Miller's voting record for yourself (here).

Some of her preferences are classic old skool Tory:

Voted against removing hereditary peers from the House of Lords.

...

Voted strongly for increasing the rate of VAT.
Voted moderately against more EU integration.
Voted moderately against equal gay rights.
Voted very strongly for university tuition fees.
Voted for raising England’s undergraduate tuition fee cap to £9,000 per year.

I think you will be waiting for a while! :D

I don't think we'll get a good government until we start hanging the bad eggs from the lampposts.
The lesser of two evils then.
Labour have always done a much better job of running this country in my opinion, it's a pity the majority of mainstream media is right wing and people are influenced heavily by it.

Personally I don't think that the state should be paying for any fertilisations when there are so many children being raised in orphanages.

While I agree with you. We cant single out lesbians at all, that just isn't right. Either everyone that needs it can have it (within limits) or no-one can. Anything else is just plain wrong.

Define 'better'.

I don't think getting us in to unfathomable amount of debt is particularly 'better'.
I don't think employing an economic system designed to benefit only the wealthy business owners at the expense of the rest of the UK and using "job creation" as an excuse when in practise it never works like that, is acceptable.

"Equality, equality, how to reform equality..."
*snaps fingers*
"Thats it! We'll pick a woman!"

"Very good Sir, who should we pick?"

"Just pick anyone, the position doesn't matter anyway"

Thats how I imagine the decision went anyway.

More worrying is the pro-homoeopathy, anti-abortion, anti-stem cell research health secretary.

Worse. Reshuffle. Ever.

True, ever noticed how Israel usually use female spokespersons when they're defending their latest atrocity? Gives 'em that soft, caring look despite the military uniform.

This wont change anything, they're all idiotic, out of touch, 'push this through to give myself a good name' game players. All politicians of all partys, whoever we get in charge day to day life doesn't change one bit. We could have a lib-dem majority for 50 years and we wouldn't notice. It's all ********. It's all a big ****ing game that doesn't change anything.

Indeed, the pro-homoeopathy retard who believe in magic potions is more of a concern.
