Out of date beer?

It isn't like spirits where it can improve with age but have a sniff of it and if it seems ok then you might as well try it. It shouldn't be any more alcoholic either since the yeast will long since have died off. :)

Of course none of this answers the important question of how you managed to let beer go out of date? ;)

Spirits (ie whiskey) only age in casks, they do not age in bottles, but I would say go for it.

I've done beer a couple of months out of date from a bottle. It tasted fine to me. Not done it from a can though, i suspect that would be a different experience altogether
