Hey Guys.
I made a thread a couple of months ago regarding an upgrade for my CPU and MB. Link is below for more detail. I would like to order as soon as possible so I'm quite impatient, I've been saving for 3 months to upgrade
Current Spec:
- CX430 PSU
- ATI 6850
- i3 540 @ 3.07GHz upgrading to i5 Haswell
- 8GB RAM
http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=25601362
After posting my specs and receiving helpful advice from active forum members, my final purchase would be:
- Intel Core i5-4670 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £169.99 inc VAT
- Gigabyte H87-HD3 Intel H87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £80.99 inc VAT
CPU is in stock but the motherboard isn't, I'm also not overclocking the CPU btw. My question is, what is an appropriate alternative motherboard around the same price range to get that would perform and function fine for my specs?
After poking around, I'm interested in, what are your thoughts?
- MSI H87-G43 Intel H87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard
Thanks, I appreciate any advice.
