Out of the loop... help!

I've been out of the loop for over 3 years now and i'm after a completely new build, specifically for music production, video editing, documents and a bit of gaming.

I literally have no idea what works with what etc, properly back to basics.

I'm ideally after everything aside from the operating system, keyboard, mouse and any external drives. Anything up to a maximum of £400, preferably around £350, anything higher has to be justified.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, who is dominating things at the moment, AMD or Intel? NVIDIA or ATI?

so you do qualify, just have to link your forum account to your buying account.

at that price range, AMD are better, you get more cores which is important for video editing.

yep, but you need the £££££, after a certain price/budget they are also better for gaming too.

such as the older i5 760 cpu, AMD has nothing that can come close.
