Wow. Loved this game but it looks 'very' dated nowerdays. This will be great if ever finished. Loved the Gaamsavv. Best in-game explanation of game saving ever.

It was, and still, the original has a distinct look about it. I bought it off of GoG before they pulled that stunt recently, haven't even installed it yet. Fond memories though

Hope this see's the light of day, the original had a great unique game world, blended with a wonderfull narative.

Only downer on the original was the insane drain on the cpu/ram reguarding a playable frame rate. Only had a 333 celeron when it came out, had to drop to 320 res to get it run in anything other than treacle.

Indeed. I remember eagerly firing it up to test my new shiny Coppermine

those were the days! Apparently the original can be played on a bog standard netbook. Will be putting this to the test soon

So in order to play this, i'd need to download a near 6GB Crysis Wars file.....

Whats wrong with using Crysis/Crysis Warhead....which i have installed!!!!!

My worry too. Looks amazing, but we will probably never see a finalised version.

Outcast was a great game - wish they would remake it

Wasn't it one of the alien dudes in one of the cities who was sitting down somewhere playing a flute, which was actually a star wars tune?.... Memory is vague but I think I'm right.
