Hey guys, I'm new here as you can see.
Basically I used to PC game a lot. I still know my way around a PC however in all honesty I only ever ran OEM. I currently have an iMac.
A friend of mine is completely inept when it comes to technology, as I know the most out of his friend I offered my help in building a custom rig. I know how to put it together just not what to put in it!
I've come up with a couple of specs, however not sure of the best make of components, or the cheapest distributor.
Would you advise building your own as the cheapest method?
I used a custom pc building site which probably isn't the best way - Dunno whether they're good or bad. But basically I was wondering if anyone could build a better gaming rig for as close to 500 as possible, we'll say 530 max as that's what I've got.
Also I'd appreciate it if anyone had a rough idea of the power in a machine of such spec - eg novabench or which games it could run etc.
So...
