Hi all,
I have a pub shed some 10m from the house and currently have the following network setup:
Sky Q hub - this is cable connected to 24-port network switch.
The switch feeds the following, my sons bedroom (with all his associated consoles, etc) 3 ports. Downstairs living room to another 4 port switch - 1 port. Feed to our bedroom - 1 port.
I also have a set of 4 Deco S4R's connected to the Q hub and then used to expand the wifi.

I struggle to get a decent connection in the pub shed (44mm wooden walls) and at the moment hard wiring is not an option.
I have been looking at the following:-

TP-Link EAP225-Outdoor Access Point

I am thinking I can mount this on the wall outside our bedroom and connect it to the switch, this will then transmit the signal across the garden and hopefully into the pub shed.
Is it that simple, or have I missed something out here?

I don't want to spend an and and a leg on this, hence the access point suggestion, but if you have any other suggestions then I will be happy to hear.

I have the TP-Link EAP110 to feed my 2 nest outdoor cameras and a nest hello doorbell. It works perfectly as the cameras only work on 2.4Ghz which is why I went with the 110 rather than the 225.
It was easy to set up and has good build quality. You need to feed it with an ethernet cable but comes with a POE injector so you only need a good quality cable.
It is very simple and does what it says on the tin.
