Outlook 2000

My boss is having a weird problem with her Outlook 2000 at the moment - whenever she opens an e-mail, then closes it - outlook automatically sends the read e-mail to the deleted items box. She isn't clicking on the delete button (as I first suspected), has anyone else come across this problem? Is there a fix?

Tools > Options > Other

and take a look through Advanced Options

Update: The e-mails aren't being moved to the Deleted Items box - they are just disappearing from the inbox as soon as they are opened and don't seem to be going anywhere. Any ideas?

Check inbox rules?

They must be going somewhere, auto archiving?

Update: problem fixed! corrupt PST file. Damn thing...
