Hi,

Problem -

When I receive an invite/meeting request, it automatically goes into my calendar as "Tentative". This is before I have even done anything with the invite i.e. before accepting, declining or forwarding it on to someone else.

Is there a way to turn off the default "Tentative" feature?

We are using outlook 2003 and exchange 2003.

FURTHER INFO

The reason I am asking the above question is because of the following scenario -

User A has a rule setup so that when User B and User C send an invite/meeting request to him, it is automatically forward on to User A's secretary. User A's secretary then has an auto accept feature on her outlook whereby she simply opens the forwarded invite and it is placed into the necessary calendars. The problem here is that when the secretary accepts the invite it is only going into her calendar and not into User A's calendar. If it does go into User A's calendar then it is only going in as "Tentative".

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated. :)

Why not just have User A set up User A's secretary as a Delegate? Thats the best way to do it and it will get round your issues.
