Outlook 2003 problem sending from domain address

I have set up googlemail pop access using Outlook 2003 and have configured the account to send from my domain, e.g. [email protected]

This works fine when sending to web based email such as Hotmail etc, but when I sent a test message to someone using Outlook (possibly on exchange server) it displayed the from field as:

Scott [[email protected]]; on behalf of; Scott [[email protected]]

Instead of just:

Scott [[email protected]]


Can this be corrected?

well i tried it with my ISP pop3 account and this problem never occured, so it must be a googlemail thing.

Any googlemail users know if there's a setting that can be changed to fix this?
