Outlook 2003 Problem

Hi guys,

Been having a bit of trouble with my outlook lately when it comes to downloading emails....it just wont do it. i have 43 emails waiting to be received and outlook will only download the first 43k of the first message.

Ive uninstalled outlook and reinstalled but still the same problems. anyone have any suggestions?

edit - forgot to say my email provider is bt internet.

Can you try it with a different e-mail account and see if that is affected as well, say Yahoo or something.

Can you send e-mails okay?

ive downloaded the emails through my phones email client no problem, i will however try another account later and see if that clears things up a bit.

emails are sending no problem, it all seems to be related to the incoming emails.

What happens after the first 43k?
Does it just sit and wait or do you get an error message?

When you used the phone, did you actually download the whole message and remove from the remote server, or just download headers/copy of message?

ahhh problem appears to be solved guys.

On the phone i was just downloading headers not the message, i tried to download the full content and it also froze. So i tried to log into my email account using webmail and it was giving me a few errors, after percevering i managed to gain access to my emails and cleared my inbox.

All seems to be working now so dont know if there was a corrupt email or something stored. odd.
