Outlook 2003 startup problem.

Hi guys,

I've got an annoying little problem with outlook in windows 7 - if I run outlook for the first time, its fine. Then I close it and try to run it moments later I get:



This happens (in most cases) 3 times and then outlook loads?! Sometimes though I have to go into task manager and manually end the outlook.exe process which continues to run in the background.

Any ideas?

Have you tried doing a detect and repair?

Help > Detect and repair.

Sounds like you're not giving Outlook enough time to actually close fully before trying to reopen it.
There should be an orange Outlook icon in the task bar, and until that disappears, don't try to reopen it.
