Good evening folks!
Got a very strange query. One of our users is running Windows 7 professional with Outlook 2007 via exchange 2007.
Recently when she tried to accept or even open a meeting request she received an error stating -
"The system adminstrator has limited the number of items you may have open simultaneously. Please close some items and try again".
Strangely, the only application she has open is outlook and literally nothing else, not even any other emails.
A bit of googling revealed that Google Desktop Search (GDS)can cause this but from a sweep I did on her PC she does not have this installed. I could have missed it so any pointers on where I should be looking for this software would be great?
Other than GDS can you guys think of anything else that could have caused this? I have already tried clearing the forms cache and it did not work.
For the time being I have got the user working after restarting outlook but I am dubious as to how long it will stay fixed. Rather than a reactive fix is there anything more concrete you guys might know of?
