This may sound stupid, but i don't have a great deal of experience with outlook, I've always used web based email. Basicaly i need help to figure out how to delete an email using outlook thats connected to my gmail account using imap.
If i delete stuff from my RSS feed, it just goes to the deleted items folder, and when thats emptied, thats it gone. When i delete an email from my gmail account using outlook, all it does is move it out of the inbox, its still visible if i go to the 'all mail' folder. If i try delete it in the all mail folder, it just puts a line through the 'from' and 'subject' fields, and nothing else. If I switch folder, then switch back to all mail, the strike-through is gone.
