Outlook 2007 groups email by date [last week, last month, etc...]

How do I stop the above being the default view please? Whenever I create a new folder it arranges stuff by week month etc which is lame, since I can read the date quite happily by myself thank you Microsoft.

Thanks but when I create a new folder it still defaults back to "show in groups". The above I knew about and works for existing folders, but new folders go back to the pointless view by date grouping.

You need to click on inbox then go into the view tab, then current view, click on define views. In the top entry for current view for inbox you modify it and ensure groups etc is not enabled. click on group by and make sure automatically group according to arangement is off. click ok and apply to close all boxes and test, it works for me in outlook 07.

Strange mate i tried it there now and is working 100%
unless you can get screen dumps of those settings its going to be trial and error on your part to do it.
