The Out of office assistant notification in Outlook 2003 came up in a box in the middle of the screen warning users that it was still on.
In 2007 there is one small balloon that appears for a few seconds then minimises to the lower right of the screen.
Many of our users do not notice this either becasue the are dealing with loads of other emails, or just dont see it.
I have scoured the net for hours and hours looking for a fix for this but cannot find anything. The nearest thing I could find was a some messy VB code to make the assistant come up everyday, which is not what people want. That and in Outlook 2010 the balloon will show up on a red bar at the top of the screen. Also if you have Exchange 2007 you can manage out of office notifications
Is it that hard to make a box appear instead of the small self minimising balloon?
